The Sri Lankan IT Professionals Association (SLITPA) proudly presents the Annual IT Awards, celebrating excellence and recognising the outstanding contributions of Sri Lankan IT professionals, companies, and teams in the UAE. Our awards aim to honour those who have made significant impacts on the IT industry through innovation, leadership, and community engagement.

About the Awards
The SLITPA Annual IT Awards are designed to acknowledge and reward the exceptional talent and achievements within our vibrant community. We believe in the power of technology to transform industries and societies, and we are committed to recognising those who drive this transformation. Our awards span a range of categories to ensure that every aspect of IT excellence is celebrated.
Eligibility
Our awards are open to all Sri Lankan IT professionals, companies, and teams that meet the following criteria:
- Sri Lankan IT Professionals: Individuals of Sri Lankan origin working in the UAE IT sector.
- Companies: Organisations headquartered in Sri Lanka, owned by a Sri Lankan passport holder, or with more than 25% of their UAE-based staff being Sri Lankan.
- Teams: Groups led by a Sri Lankan IT professional with more than three Sri Lankan IT professionals in the core team.
Note: The President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, and Assistant Treasurer of SLITPA are not eligible for these awards.
Award Categories
We have meticulously crafted award categories to highlight various facets of IT excellence:
- Sri Lankan IT Personality of the Year
- Best Achievement by a Sri Lankan IT Professional
- Best IT Project Executed by a Sri Lankan IT Professional
- Best Sri Lankan IT Company in the UAE
- Best IT Education Programme of the Year
Each category has specific criteria for evaluating the nominees, ensuring a fair and comprehensive selection process.

- Finalists Announcement: 1st July
- Award Ceremony: 6th July
Integrity and Confidentiality
We uphold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality throughout the nomination and evaluation process. While we trust the professional integrity of our nominees and do not require reference or evidence verification, any falsification or grossly inaccurate representation will be publicly condemned. All submissions will be treated confidentially, with only the panel, President, Secretary, and Treasurer accessing the detailed content for evaluation purposes.

Disclaimers
As these awards are given by the "Sri Lankan IT Professional Association" to celebrate the contribution of Sri Lankan IT Professionals to the UAE IT industry, nominations without Sri Lankan IT professionals or companies will not be considered. The Panel, consisting of four senior Sri Lankan IT professionals, is not part of the SLITPA executive committee. The selection of the finalists and award recipients is confidential within the judging panels. SLITPA officials have no influence over the decision process. The SLITPA has relationships with the companies and professionals that are being nominated. The nominations can be sponsors or members of SLITPA and have no bearing on the final selection.
