On Tuesday, the 8th of August, SLITPA, a premier IT professionals organisation in the UAE, launched its monthly industry networking event, “TechieChatTuesdays”, at the #TPHLakwil restaurant and launch in Al Barsha.
TechieChatTuesday is designed to become a regular Industry networking event that brings various IT industry professionals into one monthly social gathering. The event is open to all IT industry professionals in the UAE. This event will provide a podium to bring all IT professionals into a fun and exciting community gathering. These events are organised in an informal setting. Entrance to the events is generally unrestricted. The only expectation is that participants are open to meeting new people, listening to others, and having an honest expectation of expanding their network amongst IT professionals.
The first event was hosted by #TPHLakwil restaurant at Signature Hotel in Al Barsha. Over sixty IT industry professionals joined the event and spent time meeting new people. The organisers planned the networking event to be transformed into a fun-filled entertainment evening full of fun and energy. #TPHLakwil has organised generous discounts and entertainment options that rival an exclusive weekend party.
TechieChatTuesdays will continue accommodating enterprising IT professionals to expand their social networks the old fashion way by meeting people. At the same time, these events will help tech nerds drop their serious programming problems and have some fun.
