SLITPA-UAE 2025/2026 - Executive Committee
The Sri Lankan IT Professionals Association in the UAE (SLITPA-UAE) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the year 2025/2026 successfully in a virtual format on 13th May 2025. Despite the challenges posed by busy schedules and geography, the event saw enthusiastic participation and marked a significant milestone in the Association’s continued mission to empower Sri Lankan IT professionals in the UAE. SLITPA-UAE operates under the umbrella of the Sri Lankan Professionals Association (SLPA-UAE)—a distinguished and registered professional body in the UAE that represents various professional sectors of the Sri Lankan expatriate community. A highlight of the AGM was the appointment of the new Executive Committee for 2025/2026, which brings together a dynamic and highly experienced group of professionals from across the IT industry in the UAE. New Executive Committee – 2025/2026: President: Mr. Thishan Gunasekara – A veteran IT professional with over 25+ years of industry experience, Mr. Gunasekara brings strategic insight and leadership to the Association.
